VANARIN: out now new album "Hazy Days" by British-Italian band, via Dischi Sotterranei

Finally out today, January 17th, for Dischi Sotterranei, Hazy Days is the third album by VANARIN, a British-Italian band known for its extensive live activity on renowned stages, performing alongside the likes of Thurston MoorePublic Image Ltd and Battles and gaining international recognition to the point of being featured on the prestigious frequencies of the BBC, which spotlighted them among the best music of the moment.

Anticipated by a total of seven singles widely praised by critics worldwide, in this new record the group proves to be at the height of their expressive maturity, giving birth to a concept album with an eclectic and multifaceted sound that, thanks to its elegance and refined composition, goes beyond the boundaries of pop venturing into psychedelic, electronic, nu soul, R&B nuances, and many other sonic territories: a unique and unconventional crossover that reveals them to be authentic craftsmen of sound with a strong identity.

Skillfully playing with filters, reverbs, broken and reassembled rhythms, all refined by countless details, gives life to their highly particular atmospheric and minimalist dub-step, always aiming to be captivating yet also deeply introspective. Hazy Days is in fact a sincere hymn to the constantly evolving relationship we share with ourselves: just think of Memories, the album's conclusive and pacifying song, an invitation to seek one's essence through remembering who we are and the reasons why we have a precious place in the world.
