POL Releases Haunting New Single ‘I Miss You’

French indie pop and soft rock artist POL has released his latest single, ‘I Miss You’, a deeply evocative track that blends vintage folk, alternative pop, and soft rock. With rich textures, warm organic production, and a deep, expressive voice, the song explores the fragility of heartbreak and the raw intensity of longing.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Tamino, Lou Reed, Alex Turner, and Mac DeMarco, POL crafts a sound that is both nostalgic and contemporary, effortlessly balancing introspection, elegance, and emotional weight.

‘I Miss You’ serves as a first glimpse into DISTANCE, POL’s upcoming debut album, a 9-track journey through themes of melancholy, solitude, and the search for freedom. His previous EP, ‘Blue Moon Sketches’, was entirely self-produced in his home studio, but with DISTANCE, he expands his sonic universe, refining his signature blend of past and present influences.

Trained at the Perpignan Conservatory, POL is currently based between Paris and Bordeaux, continuously evolving his distinct musical identity.
