Transmission Suite Unveil Debut Album ‘Resonate’
Glasgow-based Transmission Suite have officially released their debut album, 'Resonate', a dynamic fusion of 80s electronica, New Wave, and post-punk with a modern edge. Taking inspiration from New Order, OMD, and Simple Minds, while capturing the anthemic spirit of The Stone Roses, The Charlatans, and Ride, the album delivers a richly layered, synth-driven soundscape packed with nostalgic warmth and contemporary flair.
Recorded between 2023 and 2024 at Green Door Studios—a renowned all-analogue space filled with vintage gear—the album’s production leans into the textures and depth of classic electronic music. This meticulous approach has resulted in a record that feels both timeless and fresh.
Early reviews have been glowing, with Record Citizens calling it “a fantastic multi-layered piece of electronic art! There’s no weak track on the album”, and Boneaux hailing it as “a New Wave tour de force! You’re gonna want this on your speakers, cool kids.” Meanwhile, CVGV Events describe the band as “ones to watch in 2025.”
Transmission Suite have already shared stages with A Flock of Seagulls and Man of Moon, and are set to support The Ultimate Stone Roses in their next live outing. With a sound that effortlessly bridges the past and the future, Resonate is out now and available to stream and download.
For fans of: New Order, Electronic, OMD, Echo & the Bunnymen, Simple Minds, Ride and The Stone Roses.
