THE PRESTIGE announce new album ‘Amer’ is set for release 06 June 2025 via Banshies
Release chaotically cathartic new track ‘Voir Dire’:
Parisian experimental hardcore band THE PRESTIGE are exploding into 2025 with their chaotically cathartic new track ‘Voir Dire’, which comes alongside the announcement of their new album ‘Amer’. The album will be out 06 June via French label Banshies and was produced by Amaury Sauvé. Vocalist and guitarist Alex Diaz says of the new track, which is out today with a music video: “‘Voir Dire’ is a poignant exploration of inner struggles and family legacies, blending poetry and melody to capture the essence of our humanity.”
The track is an intense aural onslaught, bringing hardcore and noise elements to the fore, alongside nuanced use of pacing, timing and dynamics. You can tell that ‘Voir Dire’ on stage will conjure all sorts of feelings and catharsis. It shares a story of vulnerability and resilience with the lyrics touching on themes of silence, fear, and the quest for authenticity. Perfect for an audience seeking emotional depth.
After a period of silence, The Prestige's sound reemerges like a ghost that has never left us, more unique than ever. On ‘Amer’, you can expect dark, riffs that grip you by the throat, intertwined with moments of melodic softness that create enchanting soundscapes. The album includes previously released tracks Bête Noire and Léger de Main, which further exemplify the band’s masterful manipulation of heavy and atmospheric musical elements. They’ll be continuing their return with vigour and another new album in November 2025 so stay tuned.
