SINGLE REVIEW: Feral Family - Spice King

Yorkshire based Feral Family present a tune inspired by the mind bending chaos and desolation of cult film Dune and its surreal soundtrack on new single 'Spice King'.

Fuzzy, distorted 'Spice King' blends the hypnotic darkness of shoegaze with dreamy, melodic undertones as well as interludes of attitude heavy indie swagger. It's fiery with high impact passion. There's killer riffs and battling vocals. The growl of the bass is layered with blurred guitars and thundering drums.

'Spice King' is captivating as it draws you into its world of confusion and baron bleakness, it gives you an uneasy feeling of isolation and solitude. Like being stuck in the middle of your own mind with no idea which direction to take.

There are moments of understated beauty which erupt into full passion bellowing’s before reducing back to their dreamy stance. 'Spice King' is a high impact 90's inspired track with just the right balance of production verses rawness.

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours 🤪😜) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.
