Plastic Rhino pushes musical boundaries with "TAKEITALL" - Anthem of love & obsession

Plastic Rhino is an Alternative Rock duo hailing from Los Angeles. Originating out of love in 2013, Atara Glazer (vocals) and Jack Glazer (guitar, bass, producer) formed Plastic Rhino through their shared passion for Alternative Hard Rock music and a deep love for each other. The duo has been crafting bold, genre-defying music ever since. Known for their fearless approach to sound, no two songs are alike, yet each one speaks to universal themes—love, betrayal, empowerment, women's rights, the freedom to speak out, and the allure of horror. With every release, Plastic Rhino pushes the boundaries of music, inviting listeners into a world where raw emotion and sonic experimentation collide.

Their latest single, “TAKEITALL” tells a true story of love and obsession. Atara shares, “The music is about a relationship turning bad and almost… deadly. Love is a delicate balance between obsession and devotion. Sometimes the obsession turns to stalking turns to threats.”

Sonically, “TAKEITALL” pushes musical boundaries by blending dubstep and EDM elements with Plastic Rhino’s edgy, industrial hard rock sound, creating a hybrid single that marks a bold new direction for the duo. Recorded at Elite Recordings Los Angeles with producer Tom Chandler, as well as additional producing from Ron Geffen, the single is reminiscent of Bad Omens, Poppy, and Bring Me The Horizon.

Alongside the single is the hilarious 80’s inspired Jazzercise music video. Creating a fever dream feel, the idea for the video came from the BPM of the song. The duo explain, “Our producer Ron realized the tempo fits perfectly with the old school Jazzercise competitions of the 80’s, so we decided to recreate that in a class. We wanted to have the costumes and for it to look and feel vintage, but give it a modern vibe in the vein of The Substance movie.”

Plastic Rhino has earned widespread recognition for their distinctive sound, being featured in notable publications such as LA Weekly, Earmilk, Wonderland Magazine, and Hollywood Life Magazine. Their music has received global radio play, including spins on Sirius XM’s ‘Little Steven’s Garage,’ and they were nominated for Best Metal/Rock Song at the 2023 HIMA Awards for their track “Another Try.” Additionally, their music has been featured on numerous Spotify, Apple, and Amazon editorial playlists, while their music videos have garnered awards and been showcased in various film festivals.
