Myriad to release their eagerly anticipated “Living on the Internet” EP - Out Friday 10th January

“They are sooo good! What a track!” – Fern Buckley, BBC Introducing

Myriad’s latest and most ambitious project yet is the Living on the Internet EP, out 10th January 2025. Four unique tracks will take you on a somewhat existential journey through the band's real and raw turmoils with anxiety, heartbreak, sweet love and endless doom scrolling.

With this EP, Myriad are drawing from the likes of The Strokes, Vampire Weekend and The 1975. The lyrics provide poignant social commentary against a backdrop of upbeat vibes and shimmering guitar riffs.

The band is celebrating the release of this EP at The Joiners in Southampton on Saturday, 18th of January – their biggest headline to date.

Quote from the band:

For us, this EP is a snapshot of what our lives are really like in 2025. The title track “Living on the Internet” came from our frustrations with how artificial intelligence is intruding into our daily lives and how everyone seems to be chronically online.

With “Oxytocin”, we wanted to bring the project back into the sweet reality of an intoxicating romance, that feeling you get wondering if it’s real or if it’s all going to end tomorrow.

Then on “Sick of the Sound” we touch on the feeling of anxiety and not wanting to be left alone with your thoughts “in the dead of night”.

Wasted Time takes us back to the romance, telling the heart-wrenching story of a love that has fallen apart.

If you really listen to each song, you’ll find a tonne of real and relatable moments hidden in the lyrics, while the beat keeps you dancing and singing along.
