Angel Number release new powerful single 'The Chalice'
‘The Chalice’ is the second single following Angel Number’s debut EP ‘I.’, self-produced and mixed by Kel Pinchin (Split Chain, Thornhill). Evolving the established sonic theme of electronica meeting alternative rock, the synth pads take over for distorted guitars to deliver the song’s explosive choruses while flanging guitar riffs drive the verses this time. The drum performance charges forward and the vocal melodies soar to echo the words’ timely message - the world is changing faster than ever and our choices matter. Lyrically, the verse gets straight to the point, taking on the subject of discerning truths in the post-modern world to come. Even more division and messianic figures are going to populate our psyche while the chorus touches on the consequences of poor moral choices. Building a dedicated audience in their native northern England, Angel Number are set to tour the UK and Europe in 2025 to further spread the word and leave their mark within the scene.

Biography:
Hailing from the North of England, Angel Number are a genre bending five-piece ready to make an indelible mark on the UK music scene. Blending elements of shoegaze, alternative rock, new wave, electronica and pop, they created a distinct sound whilst exploring themes of shadow work and all things metaphysical through their lyrics and imaginary. The backdrop of the early 2020s informed their initial, fearless experimentation and led them to a time of seclusion to craft what was to become their latest musical outpour in form of the latest singles ‘The Fabric Speaks’, ‘A Worthy Host’ and 'Fateful' off of their highly anticipated debut EP I. released in 2024. The influence of modern cinema, specifically the psychological thriller niche popularised by A24, bleeds into their work by way of sound design and unique world building. Listening to their music feels like being stood in front of a monument, taking in its intricacies and tiny details that form a larger-than-life image.
Morphed together from previous projects, their impressing musical journey so far has not only gained them a lot of attention and support within the British Rock scene from the likes of Kerrang!’s Alex Baker, Daniel P Carter's BBC Radio1, Alyx Holcombe, Rock Sound and Alt Press, but also saw them supporting bands such as Holly Fawn, Movements and Love Is Noise, as well as securing themselves a slot at Burn It Down Festival.
This has just been the start for the band. Planning to unleash some of their most refined work to date upon the world soon, and promising an engaging and unique live show, it is no wonder that Angel Number are one of the most exciting rising bands in the UK to look out for right now.
