"A real beauty" - Uncut

"Indie rock at it's most instantly gratifying" - Pitchfork

"Open-air, stargazing indie rock" - The New York TimesIt has been 2 years since Wild Pink — the New York band fronted by singer/guitarist John Ross —released their last LP ILYSM. Described as “a renaissance tapestry” by NPR Music, and praised by outlets like The New York Times, Pitchfork, Uproxx, Paste, SPIN and many more. ILYSM was preceded by the equally-lauded A Billion Little Lights (2021), whose beloved tracks composed “one of the prettiest rock records of the past decade” (Stereogum) and graced the airwaves of KEXP and CBS Saturday Morning.

Today, Wild Pink have returned to announce their signing to Fire Talk Records (Bnny, PACKS, Mandy, Indiana), and share a new single entitled “Air Drumming Fix You.”

Though Wild Pink are known for their collaborations — among which include Julien Baker, Ryley Walker, Jasmin WIlliams, Ratboys’ Julia Steiner, and J. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr.— “Air Drumming Fix You” showcases Ross unadorned and singular, reinforcing him as "a truly gifted songwriter, one able to contain vast vistas within single songs” (Under the Radar). As Ross connects associative ideas of VR worlds, church pews, and “baby’s breath just like creme fraiche,” the track transforms into something truly anthemic. With spaced-out synths and saxophone, it conjures open and unexplored terrains, a natural extension of Wild Pink’s “vast and swooning” (The FADER) sound.
