Irish alt-rock/metal act WhiteRoomNightmare announces the release of their new single, 'Where Only Machines Have Been', via Horus Music Ltd.

'Where Only Machines Have Been' is the first single from WhiteRoomNightmare's upcoming third album and marks the origin of the album's space-based concept.

"I joined a collective of musicians on Discord who decided that it would be a good idea to release a collaborative album, with each member submitting a song based on the unifying theme: lost in space. I was hesitant at first, but the more I thought about it, the more it inspired me to write about what an astronaut might be thinking if they were somehow cut adrift from a space station in lunar orbit and floating off into space.

The collaborative album didn’t materialise, and I was going to just release the track as a standalone single. But then I started wondering—how did the astronaut get there in the first place? Did he actually die, or was he rescued? And from there, it sort of spiralled."
