Welcome to Hotel Mira's PITY PARTY

The wait is over.

Hotel Mira’s latest album Pity Party has arrived, capturing the chaos of soaring highs and crushing lows. It is a record that dives deep into the cycles of indulgence, regret and self-reflection, delivered with the band’s signature intensity.

“The album title ‘Pity Party’ captures the genre and concept of the songs — the feeling of cycling between extreme joy, excitement and excess (party) and the impending depression, hangover and paranoia (pity). Being so caught up in the self-obsession of ends of this spectrum that you neglect to give yourself to anything of use.” – Charlie Kerr

Lead single “Made For This” sets the tone, unpacking the aftermath of a breakup with sharp lyricism and swagger-filled riffs.

“Made For This: This song is the autopsy of a break-up. The memories we gather and sift through and unravel why something didn’t work and why we were right like some shitty vindictive detective. The truth is that no one was right or wrong; no victim, no perpetrator. Most of the time relationships end because people are just incompatible. This was based off an ancient Hotel Mira demo where I almost guarantee I was trying to do a Jack White thing with those riffs. When we were recording I annoyingly reminded my bandmates the importance of ‘swagger.’” – Charlie Kerr

Pity Party is a bold and unfiltered look at the extremes of human emotion, wrapped in the electrifying sound that only Hotel Mira can deliver.
