Stynna is an artist and producer based in Hilversum, the Netherlands. After working on other peoples music and other band projects for years he decided to bring his own creative vision to fruition as Stynna. His influences range from Earl sweatshirt to PUP to La Dispute and this blend of influences results in the melancholy, yet upbeat sound that Stynna is sure to provide.
About ‘Downer’
After several years of working on other peoples music in various roles in the legendary Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum, and multiple band projects such as Plain Aggression and 3 Eyed Kids, the Dutch producer and singer Stynna has released his first single "Downer".
The song is a departure from the more upbeat and heavy oriented music he has previously made including 3 Eyed Kids, and collaborations with bands such as Crisis Theory. Downer is more similar to his previous collaborations with the Rock band Daytime Lingerie.
Downer is a song that is dripping in melancholy, but doesn't shy away from hard hitting guitars and a headbang worthy chorus. filled with intimate lyrics about heartbreak and self doubt, but also learning to accept yourself through this. It's a song that's sure to fill you with a nostalgia and heartbreak in the best ways possible.
