SINGLE REVIEW: Talley Tunes - Living At Full Speed

Talley Tunes throw subtlety out the window with ‘Living At Full Speed’, a relentless, full-throttle punk rock rush that barely gives you time to catch your breath. It’s wild, it’s frenzied, and it barrels forward with an unapologetic intensity that feels completely untamed. The guitars are punchy and packed with attitude, fizzing with a sharp-edged energy that never lets up. The drums crash and stomp with a reckless momentum, giving the track a chaotic, fire-driven backbone that makes every second feel like a sprint to the finish.

Despite its brevity, ‘Living At Full Speed’ doesn’t feel incomplete—if anything, it’s the sheer urgency that makes it work. There’s an outrageous, slightly eccentric quality to it, as if it’s revelling in its own unhinged energy. But for all its frenzied madness, there’s a real sense of precision beneath it. The track moves with intention, throwing in just enough sludgy thickness to give it weight without losing any of its blistering speed. Every element is tightly wound, yet it never feels restrained—just pure, exhilarating chaos.

Clocking in at just 1 minute 30 seconds, it’s the kind of song that practically demands to be played on repeat. There’s an addictive, fist-in-the-air energy to it, the kind of punk rock that feels designed for sweaty basement gigs and reckless abandon. It doesn’t try to be anything other than what it is—a no-frills, high-speed ride that’s as thrilling as it is uncompromising.
