SINGLE REVIEW: Guilty Party - Lemonade

Cardiff's Guilty Party detail the stages of a night out on debut single 'Lemonade'.

The highs, the Lows, the coming up, the coming down and everything in-between. The moments you're lost, the moments you're found and the moments you're carefree and just want to hit the dancefloor. There's big riffs to celebrate the party's crescendo and nervous energy to represent the surreal calls you make amidst the chaos.

'Lemonade' blasts in grand anthemic style with fuzzed up guitars and atmospheric disorientation. Reducing down for the plodding verse highlighting the sweet soulful vocals it crashes into the 90's infused chorus. It's grungy and bold with a sound reminiscent of Belly or Madder Rose.

The introduction of male vocals provide a nice contrast to the sweet, innocent tones presenting something much more raw and less produced.

'Lemonade' is a strong debut from Guilty Party, their sound is that of seasoned pro's not a band in their infancy. It's an exciting noise and I can't wait to hear more!
