SINGLE REVIEW: Finding Aurora - The Never-Ending
Newport, Wales' Finding Aurora brings a killer dose of raw, confident energy on latest single 'The Never-Ending'.
Killer riffs, catchy hooks the track crosses multiple genres to deliver a high octane slice of rock. Featuring the melodic nature of pop punk, the slightly under produced tones of garage rock and the fuzziness of grunge 'The Never-Ending' is 4 minutes of pure passion.
It is urgent and frantic with a bold as brass attitude. The vocals shift from harmonising to raw and edgy even encapsulating a bluesy tone at times. The guitars are exceptional backed with crashing drums and heavy bass. Moments of distortion complete the raucous energy and provide a dynamic captivating sound.
Drawing influence from the earthy tones of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam the four piece have added their own slant to produce a multifaceted sound that is exhilarating, exciting and addictive. A sound that would be at home in the 1990's but is equally as relevant today.
