SINGLE REVIEW: Debt Cemetary - Let's Murderlize 'Em

Debt Cemetary brings us a track inspired by the 2020 Civil Right Movement in latest single 'Lets Murderlize 'Em'.

Hard-hitting lyrics, frantic guitars with gripping, killer riffs. Fast paced, melodic chaos, big hooks and infectious energy. 'Let's Murderlize 'Em' blasts in like a smack in the face!

The vocals are both raucous and shouty with epic impact while also rhythmic and tuneful. They're raw but well presented and you can tell they're being delivered with genuine passion and frustration.

Detailing the unrest felt across the United States following George Floyd’s arrest and murder 'Lets Murderlize 'Em' cycles through endless feelings of turmoil and exasperation. Questioning why people can't see eye to eye and why everything has to be so corrupt. The feeling you're living in a country that is like a sinking ship. Moving from one moment of national disturbance to another. Wishing differences could be put aside and people could examine the bigger picture. The words "no justice, no fucking peace" particular hit me because this could be said of any place at any time, those at the top forever lying and cheating while the normal folk have to live in the carnage and disruption they've created.

'Let's Murderlize 'Em' is big on energetic punk noise with brutally honest lyrics delivered with authenticity and genuine, vexed frustration.
