SINGLE REVIEW: Comett - Alone

France's Comett brings in the summer with hazy sunshine-laced indie anthem 'Alone'.

'Alone' challenges the idea of wasting time feeling empty rather than embracing the fact the earth is turning and you could go out and make something of yourself instead of focusing on the negatives. It takes a look at the innocence and expectation of childhood and the possibilities that lie ahead. It expresses the notion of no longer living on the edge of collapse instead welcoming everything good the world has to offer.

Starting out with a simple, dreamy indie vibe and beautiful homely vocals, 'Alone' builds into a sunny groove with a joyful tone with hooky guitars, bright trumpets, and playful drums. It's a triumphant indie tune with an addictive energy and catchy tone.

I'm Amy a Norfolk girl, currently residing at the seaside.

Age: eternally 21 (Iā€™m really Peter Pan!).

By day I'm a Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould Resident Liaison Officer and by night I'm CRB's admin bitch, reviewer extraordinaire, point and hope for the best photographer, paperclip monitor and expert at breaking anything technical then expecting Scott to fix it!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜œ) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
