SINGLE REVIEW: Call the the Faithful - KNIFE TO A GUNFIGHT

Peterborough natives' A Call to Faithful are big news in their North Cambridgeshire homeland. Regularly playing shows at the now somewhat legendary Met Lounge amassing them quite the local following. Having previously played all over the UK, the band are ramping up their campaign with their electrifying new single 'KNIFE TO A GUNFIGHT' in hopes of bringing their dynamic sound to a new audience.

Channelling governmental frustrations against feelings of uncertainty and society-based anguish, 'KNIFE TO A GUNFIGHT' is driven with brazen, booming passion and brutal energy.

Determined riffs blast alongside pulsating drums and fiery, hook-laden vocals. Dancing from alt-rock to concept-driven ambitious prog interludes to the melodic, emotion-laced bellowings of post-hardcore and the intense anger of nu-metal 'KNIFE TO A GUNFIGHT' is an epic montage of how powerless people are against governments. The masses are forever suppressed while those who govern abuse the authority bestowed upon them. Seething at how every government is worse than the last. A story of the underdog forever fighting a losing battle for equality and to regain control.

Call to the Faithful have something to say, a voice that demands to be heard. A spirited, fury filled listen, 'KNIFE TO THE GUNFIGHT', rages with the ferocity the whole country is feeling. A diverse, energetic listen, the lads are incredibly talented musicians unafraid to shake up their sound and keep things interesting, as well as fervent songwriters giving a voice to the people.

'KNIFE TO A GUNFIGHT' is a magnificent protest song siphoning anger against catchy sounds, impactful riffs, and vulnerable openness.
