SEEK HARBOUR release reimagined ‘Emotion vs. Motion ii’

Following a lineup change and the introduction of new vocalist Aimee Allin, Seek Harbour recently returned with the EP ‘Versus’. The EP had support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, Kerrang Radio (Featured Artist Of The Week), Kerrang (Top 20 Chart), Dreambound, TotalRock (Single Of The Week), Idioteq, Noizze, RTE2XM, Apple Music, Deezer, and more. Fresh from a UK tour with Colt 45 and shows with Dream State and Delaire, The Liar, the band will now release a series of reimagined songs and continue with ‘Emotion vs. Motion ii’ which is out on the 25th October 2024.

Aimee: “Emotion vs. Motion was the first song I had more of a lead on since I'd joined the band. I think I resonated a lot with the lyrics and message of perservering in love and relationships and choosing to accept the ups and downs for what they are, so when we decided to make the "ii" EP I was very much keen. I felt that message would translate very well in an reimagined format and I’ve been very happy with the outcome since.”

Edwin: “The explosive power and raw emotion Aimee emits on the original track is such an example of falling into the term "powerhouse vocalists" - in my humble opinion. I really think she does well within the higher registers and love hearing that track performed with the feels and energy it brings.Shifting down the track many gears for "Emotion vs. Motion ii" to more of a quiet emotional number, I feel, has worked well and brought forward a new and interesting light onto the already moving track. This songs flow and listener connection is different from its sister but also manages to describe and capture musically the aches and woes of love, specifically past relationships. Echoing Aimee's statement I agree that the lyrics in this one are relatable and is going to be for many others who hear it.”
