Pleiades Release New Music with ‘CV5 (Constant Variation)’ – The First in a Series of Odes to Their Hometowns

Pleiades are back with ‘CV5 (Constant Variation)’, the first in a planned series of musical odes to their hometowns. Recorded in Manchester, the track marks their first new release since the critically acclaimed debut album Affinity With.

The band has been hailed as a “vital new voice in UK rock” and praised for their mastery of dynamic shifts and conceptual depth, earning comparisons to some of post-hardcore and post-metal's finest. After an eventful year filled with standout performances at ArcTanGent, Strangeforms, and Portals, Pleiades continue to evolve their "post-something" sound—a term they embrace for its refusal to be boxed in.

‘CV5 (Constant Variation)’ reflects the band’s roots while pushing their sonic boundaries, offering fans a glimpse into the next phase of their artistry.

‘CV5 (Constant Variation)’ is out now.
