Noah Derksen Details the Arc of Love on New 'Sanctity of Silence' LP

An American citizen raised in the heart of the Canadian prairies, award-winning roots/Americana singer-songwriter Noah Derksen writes with the groundedness of harsh Manitoba winters mixed with the failed optimism of the American Dream. His third full-length album, Sanctity of Silence, follows the arc of love from start to finish: the joyful beginning to the bitter ending. Produced by JUNO Award winner Murray Pulver and mixed by Grammy winner Ryan Freeland, it features an array of Winnipeg's talented music core.

"You Got a Hold On Me" takes the lead, inviting you to picture yourself at 25, driving off towards the sunset, the warmth of the light on your face. The road winds ever so gently, a smooth two-lane highway with no one else around but the trees lining the pavement. Nothing else matters, just you, the one you’re with, and the miles ahead.
