Vancouver’s Hotel Mira just released the official video for their latest single ‘Making Progress’ from their upcoming album ‘PITY PARTY’ releasing March 14, 2025.
“Making Progress is a song about shifting focus from matters of the heart and something personal to something more focused on how we show up in this world. I saw a blog post somewhere that described survival as the ultimate revenge. As things seem to be revealed to seem more and more hopeless I tend to get strangely more and more grateful to even be alive with air in my lungs through whatever happens next. It’s the push from making the mental health discourse less about hyper-individualism and more about the outside circumstances at play that lead to this psychic pain.”
