Discovered whilst busking on the streets of Manchester, Alex Spencer’s street-savvy lyricism is undeniable. While his roots are embedded in the culture of his hometown, a large portion of his childhood was spent travelling the world with his parents, which has had a profound impact on his creativity and ambitious perspective. At the age of ten, Alex picked up the guitar, inspired by his father's playing, and hasn't let go of it since. Self-taught and masterfully skilled, he has spent years perfecting his craft which is flawlessly showcased in ‘Wake Me Up’.

2024 marked a breakthrough year for Alex, with his sophomore EP There's Gotta Be More having earned support in Clash Magazine and securing significant radio support. Highlights include a live session with John Kennedy on Radio X, multiple Single of the Week honours on XS Manchester, and ‘Love and Let Go’ being named Track of Dawn on BBC Radio 6 by Chris Hawkins. His track 'Nightmares' also made waves, being featured on the EA Sports FC25 soundtrack, reaching a global audience. Alex’s rising musical success and all round likability have landed him coverage on BBC Breakfast, ITV Granada, and The Premier League’s Global Show.
