London’s Sleeping Mountain Gear Up Their First Full-Length Album on June 14th

Forging a Path in Heavy Psych & Desert Rock

Sleeping Mountain is a heavy psych/desert rock band from London, drawing inspiration from Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, and All Them Witches. Their sound blends stoner rock grooves, psychedelic textures, and immersive storytelling.

As they gear up for the release of their debut album on June 14, 2025, the band is building momentum with a series of four singles:
🔥 Alibi (Feb 15, 2025) – A haunting reflection on betrayal and truth.
🔥 Wildfire (Mar 15, 2025) – A high-energy, riff-driven track about breaking free.
🔥 Medusa (Apr 12, 2025) – A descent into doom, capturing emotional paralysis.
🔥 Akelarre (May 17, 2025) – A ritualistic, hypnotic experience.

More Than Just Music – A Key Player in the Scene

Beyond their music, Sleeping Mountain is actively shaping the underground stoner, psych, and doom community. One of their biggest achievements is STOOMFEST, a rising festival dedicated to stoner rock, heavy psych, doom, and desert rock. As both performers and organisers, they’ve built a platform that strengthens the scene, connecting bands, booking agents, brands, and labels.

Their deep industry connections have allowed them to work alongside influential labels and artists. Sleeping Mountain is already collaborating with Heavy Psych Sounds to develop a London festival, further cementing their role in the scene’s growth.

Upcoming Tour with Wet Cactus

The band’s next step is a full tour in September with Wet Cactus, with all dates confirmed and tickets already on sale. This tour will further establish Sleeping Mountain as a force within the heavy psych and stoner rock world.

Seasoned Musicians, Powerful Performances

Although Sleeping Mountain is a relatively new project (around 20 live gigs so far), its members are seasoned musicians with extensive experience in successful Spanish bands. Their background in live performance, songwriting, and audience engagement gives them an edge despite their short time together.

While they haven’t played extensively in London yet, the band is fully committed to delivering high-quality live performances, ensuring every show is a refined, immersive experience.

Sleeping Mountain is ready to make a lasting impact. With their debut album on the horizon and a growing presence in the scene, they are a band to watch in 2025.
