KNIFE BRIDE release new single ‘TERRITORY’ ahead of UK tour with Defects
Brighton-based metal four-piece KNIFE BRIDE have released a killer new single ‘TERRITORY’, as they gear up to head off on tour around the UK with Defects and Profiler later this month. Influenced by the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox and Evanescence, ‘TERRITORY’ brings frontwoman Mollie Clack’s impassioned and compelling vocal to the fore. Mollie says “Territory is a love song, believe it or not. It was written after a hostile exchange and I see it as a kind of diary entry, I guess. It’s very dramatic and purging and really highlights how crazy love can make you.”
Coining the term Nu-Gothika and embodying that spirit with all its implied drama, KNIFE BRIDE have been making their mark on the UK’s metal scene with their own unique immersive sound.
Mollie, Sean Windle (guitar, backing vocals), Sean Millsopp (drums, synth), and Craig Glynn (bass) have crafted their own reality and, in doing so, have seen their music played on BBC Radio 1 and Kerrang! Radio, editorial support from Kerrang!, Rock Sound and Metal Hammer and slots at iconic festivals such as Download, 2000trees and The Great Escape.
KNIFE BRIDE have also been in high-demand as special guests for the likes of HANABIE, Graphic Nature, WARGASM, Scene Queen, Vukovi and SKYND in venues all across the UK and Europe, dominating any stage they occupy. Within two mere years of the band’s formation, KNIFE BRIDE have also played three sold out headline shows at hometown Brighton's Green Door Store.
This year, KNIFE BRIDE were nominated for Heavy Music Awards’ 'Best UK Breakthrough Artist' and 'Best Breakthrough Live Artist'.
