KNIFE BRIDE release anthem of empowerment ‘WORTHY’

Powerful, forward-thinking metal quartet KNIFE BRIDE have released a new single intended to lift you up. Vocalist Mollie Clack says of the track, ‘WORTHY’,: “Last year I fell in love under circumstances that felt massively shameful. I couldn’t help but despise myself for all of the damage I had caused. This song is a reminder that you are always worthy of love. Even when you feel yourself morphing into something you don’t recognise. You are inherently worthy.”
Inspired by a plethora of artists from Bad Omens and Northlane to Paramore, the track packs more than a punch, showcasing Clack’s versatile vocal, which she delivers with apparent ease.
Based in Brighton, KNIFE BRIDE have been making their mark on the UK metal underground playing shows with the likes of Ithaca, HANABIE, Graphic Nature, WARGASM, Scene Queen, Vukovi and SKYND in venues all across the UK and Europe, as well as dominating their own headline dates. Mollie, Sean Windle (guitar, backing vocals), Sean Millsopp (drums, synth), and Craig Glynn (bass) have crafted their own “Nu-Gothika” reality and, in doing so, have seen their music played on BBC Radio 1 and Kerrang! Radio, editorial support from Kerrang!, Rock Sound and Metal Hammer and slots at iconic festivals such as Download, 2000trees and The Great Escape. This spring, you can see them with Air Drawn Dagger at Corporation in Sheffield on 5th April and headlining Noizzefest in Cardiff on 26th April.
In 2024, KNIFE BRIDE were nominated for Heavy Music Awards’ 'Best UK Breakthrough Artist' and 'Best Breakthrough Live Artist'. 2025 kicked off with an inclusion in Kerrang!’s “Sound of 2025” which described Mollie as “pouring endless midnight melodies into beautiful and, at times, startlingly heavy compositions that bridge the worlds of velvety goth-rock, alt. pop and metal as vibrantly as a bloodstain on a wedding dress.”
