Jeremy Voltz Shares Powerful and Soaring Indie Soul Single, “Baby This is Worth It” from his upcoming album ‘Running Away’

Following the gritty pop of “Miracles,” Torontonian Jeremy Voltz’s first release of 2023, he’s back to share “Baby This is Worth It,” a raw and powerful piece of indie soul which finds Voltz reflecting on the difficult place of being in a relationship where one partner has a foot out the door. The song is from his forthcoming album Running Away, out September 29th.

The string-laden production heightens this song’s intensity, juxtaposed with tense acoustic guitar which carries the verses. “We wanted the chorus to feel like an explosion, a raw outpouring of desperation and vulnerability,” explains Voltz of his and co-writer Oliver Charles’ approach.
