Introducing....JW Paris

To coincide with the release of Electric Candle Light; Click Roll Boom caught up with JW Paris to learn a bit more about the band's roots and plans for the future.

CRB: Can you describe JW Paris in 5 words?

JWP: Retro Fuzz meets RocknRoll Swagger (That counts right?)

CRB: How did you all meet?

JWP: JW PARIS formed with Danny and Aarons love for blues. Drinking whisky in Dannys home-made front room bar in Luton and jamming songs with guitars and pot and pans lit a fuse. We both then moved to London where we played all over the North London scene.

CRB: Who are your biggest influences?

JWP: Dandy Warhols/ BRMC/ Rolling Stones/ Blur/ Elastica

CRB: What has been the highlight of your career so far?

JWP: Going on our first tour together. Driving up and down the country playing shows back to back in different towns and seeing the crowds sing along to our songs was pretty special. Doesn’t get much better than that. Just being on the road with each other is a guaranteed good time.

CRB: What does the future hold for the band?

JWP: BIG THINGS (We hope) We’ve been working tirelessly on our debut album. And we have to say. It’s HOT AF

CRB: What are you working on at the moment?

JWP: Finishing the album/ artwork/ videos and writing new bops!

CRB: Shameless plug for your latest album/single….

Shameless?! We were playing it as loud as possible in a rickshaw around London last weekend! Doesn’t get more shameless than that! Electric Candle Light is out Friday 25th March! WRAP YOUR EARS AROUND IT

Amy

I'm Amy a Norfolk girl, currently residing at the seaside.

Age: eternally 21 (I’m really Peter Pan!).

By day I'm a Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould Resident Liaison Officer and by night I'm CRB's admin bitch, reviewer extraordinaire, point and hope for the best photographer, paperclip monitor and expert at breaking anything technical then expecting Scott to fix it!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours 🤪😜) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
