Introducing Wrocław’s Daffodil Pill - “four perpetually smiling hippies”

Daffodil Pill is a band made up of four perpetually smiling hippies from Wrocław, with their activity starting at the end of 2020. The group creates music that blends vintage psychedelia with feel-good surf rock and progressive elements. The band's sound and image are inspired by the 60s and 70s, as well as the achievements of contemporary neo-psychedelic artists, particularly the Australian scene, with King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard at the forefront.

In their hometown, Daffodil Pill became famous for their energetic concerts, compositional diversity, and the positive energy flowing from the stage. Currently, their performances are paired with analog visuals created in real time using dyes, a project managed by LiquidLure.

At the end of 2022, Daffodil Pill won the WARTO Award from Gazeta Wyborcza Wrocław in the music category (Wrocław ARTistic Discoveries of 2022). In January 2023, the band was named “Artist of the Year 2022” by the Polska Muzyka Alternatywna portal's poll.

On November 22, their debut album was released by Interstellar Smoke Records. The album was recorded and mixed by Marcin Bors at the Fonoplastykon studio.
