Glytsh share single ‘V.H.S’

GLYTSH is formed of French singer Jennifer Diehl and Swiss guitarist Claire Genoud. The explosive duo mixes their love for metal music with their passion for dark and haunting sonic soundscapes and visuals. Their sound has been described as empowering, heavy and unique. The band is on a mission to make the metal and alternative scenes more welcoming, inclusive and safe for aspiring musicians and music fans, regardless of their gender identity, age or sexual orientation. GLYTSH formed in late 2021, and so far, they released three well received singles: cover of NIN’s classic “Closer”, “(Hard)Core Memory” and “SAV@GE”.

GLYTSH’s music received a lot of airplays from mainstream media (BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, Radio X, Primordial Radio, Planet Rock) and independent stations, zines and blogs. Their sensual and vivid videos were also a hit with YouTube audience bringing in thousands of views.

Newest single titled “VHS (Vulgar Holy Spirit)” is being released on May the 4th and metal is strong with this one. It’s loud, proud and kind of a sombre love song, because why not?

“’VHS’ is about a lost relationship trying to be resurrected” says Jennifer Diehl who performs in GLYTSH under the moniker of Luna Blake. “It’s a dark romantic tale 2.0 with a Frankenstein flavour and could be seen as the sequel to our second single - ‘Hard(core) Memory’”.

“VHS” release will herald the arrival of GLYTSH’s debut EP later this year and their first tour. The debut gig is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 14th of June at The Grace, Islington’s newest late-night bar and grass roots music venue supporting Tom Saint. The concert is organized in association with DHP Family, one of the UK’s leading agency in the entertainment sector. The band is excited to be performing again after such long break caused by the pandemic. “FINALLY! We’ll be back on stage after 3 years of abstinence!” Jennifer laughs hardly able to contain her excitement. “And it’s not gonna be a quiet one!”.
