Future Legends Rock Festival Showcases Phenomenal Young Talent on Austin’s Stage
March 9th, 2024 – A group of the most gifted and captivating young musicians from across the country are taking the stage on March 9th to perform at the Future Legends Rock Festival in Austin, TX. The inaugural event hosted by Rock Rage Radio will feature a diverse bill of emerging bands from cities like NYC, LA, Memphis, and the local scene in Austin. The festival acts as a prelude to SXSW, Austin’s largest music festival. To fill the vacancy of platforms that present exceptionally talented musicians under 21, this event strives to provide a space during SXSW to showcase their abilities. There will also be a post-show open jam segment, allowing these incredible musicians to perform unscripted together.
The Future Legends Rock Festival celebrates the extraordinary musical prowess of young individuals, showcasing their innate talent and authentic musical expression. This event is dedicated to nurturing and amplifying the skills of these already remarkable performers. The impressive roster of bands, many of which have already achieved substantial success and recognition, includes the LA-based artist YOYOKA, who has accumulated over 240K YouTube subscribers stunned by this 14-year-old drummer. Also on the bill is a 5-piece rock band from Memphis named SOUNDBOX. With over 95K followers on TikTok, their extraordinary abilities have been reflected in their rapid growth as a band. There will be a performance from THE ONLY BAY & The All-Stars, starring New York based 9-year-old guitarist Bay Melnick, who has gained fame for his prodigious skills and deep passion for rock music. The Austin-based female-fronted rock band K8 & THE KRUSHERS is also set to take the stage, adding a vibrant local character to the festival.
