Frances Eliza Releases her Captivating New Single “Nowhere”

[Asheville, NC] Frances Eliza, the rising indie artist known for her haunting melodies and heartfelt songwriting, is thrilled to announce the release of her latest single, “Nowhere.” “Nowhere” is available for streaming on all platforms beginning 01/31/25. 

“Nowhere” offers an unflinching and intimate exploration of a turbulent relationship, capturing some of the conflict that can arise when two people struggle to hold onto something that’s unavoidably slipping away. Frances’ new single also pushes her sound even further, blending influences from folk, jazz, and indie-pop to create something innovative and unexpected.

“Like I’ve done with a lot of my other original songs, I wrote the verses of “Nowhere” after I wrote the chorus, ‘I know that you are scared of losing me for good, but I am prepared.’ The verses then followed the chorus and tried to expand on that theme of being emotionally resigned or checked out from a romantic relationship. 

… One of my favorite moments is the instrumental bridge after the second chorus, which I worked on with a few talented musicians to bring to life as I envisioned. My ultimate goal was to create this feeling of being transported outside of oneself, almost like you're floating up into space and then coming back down to earth for that last new chorus. I hope my listeners can resonate with “Nowhere” and enjoy listening to it!”
