First Time: A Transatlantic Duo Debuts with 'Recitals'

Independent acoustic singer-songwriter duo First Time has officially arrived with their debut EP, Recitals, now available on all streaming platforms. Based in the Frankfurt Metropolitan Area, the project unites the creative forces of Tejas Ramakrishna from Bangalore, India, and Jeff Weingarten from Philadelphia, USA. Their collaboration began unexpectedly after a chance musical encounter in Germany, leading to the formation of a unique cross-continental partnership.

Released on February 28, 2025, Recitals is a five-track collection that weaves together elements of acoustic and alternative singer-songwriter stylings, embracing a sense of intimacy and optimism. The duo’s sound reflects their diverse backgrounds while maintaining a cohesive and heartfelt approach to storytelling through music.
