Electronica duo Perpacity share single ‘The Void’
About Perpacity
Perpacity is a dark electronic duo consisting of Ian Harling (UK) and Martin Nyrup (Denmark), two musicians with over 20 years of experience spanning songwriting, live performance, studio production, and music engineering. Known for their haunting melodies and driving beats, Perpacity crafts immersive soundscapes that blend rich electronic textures with a distinctively dark, atmospheric edge.
The duo first introduced their music to the world with their debut album, The Sinner Inclination (2015), released via Global Dance Records. This collection showcased early instrumental and vocal work, setting the foundation for their evolving sound.
Following this, Perpacity steadily built their reputation with a series of well-received singles, including Obscene, Save Me, and Volatile Cohesion. Their second full-length album, Arise (2016), further solidified their presence in the electronic music scene, paving the way for their critically acclaimed third album, The Order of Now (2018).
Continuing their momentum, Perpacity released Conflagration (2020) through Scentair Records, followed by their fifth studio album, Discordia (2023), a 12-track collection that further expanded their sonic reach. In 2024, Town and Towers Records reissued a remastered version of The Order of Now along with Discordia, bringing new life to these releases.
Looking ahead to 2025, Perpacity is set to release their highly anticipated sixth studio album, Poverty of the Flesh, once again through Town and Towers Records, promising another evolution in their signature dark electronic sound.
