Disco-Driven Indie-Poppers Token Honey Return With New Single 'Dawn'

Bridging the gap between  70s disco, 80s synth-pop, and 00s RnB, and tying things off with a distinctly indie approach to their craft, five-piece Token Honey are eschewing the typical Manchester aesthetic in favour of something much more three-dimensional, and utterly irresistible.

With previous singles already turning heads and racking up plays across various DSPs, the band’s latest single ‘Dawn’ looks set not just to do the same, but take the band another step further up the ladder.

“Dawn is one of those tunes that we just love to play in a live setting.” the band explain.  “The energy of the groove and the synth line really grab people, and they’re singing along by the end of it even after never hearing it before!”

It’s this level of immediacy and pop sensibility that allow Token Honey to stand head shoulders above much of their swagger Mancunian contemporaries, and with Spring starting to make its presence known, they couldn’t be releasing Dawn at a more fitting time.
