DEAD PONY

ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE/VIDEO 'MK NOTHING'

UK HEADLINE TOUR THIS AUTUMN

SELECT DATES WITH CHVRCHES IN SUMMER

“We have found the most accomplished band out of Scotland yet” - Jack Saunders, Radio 1

"Dead Pony are set to continue their meteoric rise " Line Of Best Fit

“I love it when you find a young band that just makes you feel the way when you
were that age. ...I find them really exciting.” - Lauren Mayberry (CHVRCHES) on
BBC Radio 1

"Brimming with chaos and character, showing off the bands raucous personality as well as setting up what is sure to be an exciting future" Rock Sound

Glasgows Dead Pony might just be one of the most exciting Scottish exports.  An infamously hard-edged city in the UK’s grim far north-west, Glasgow’s weathered concrete and moody skies weren’t the obvious surroundings in which the creative vibrancy of youngsters like Anna Shields and Blair Crichton alongside bassist Liam Adams and drummer Euan Lyons would be allowed to flourish.

A swaggering, genre-obliterating banger, new single 'MK Nothing' – the first taste new music – position the Rock quartet alongside scene-leading trailblazers.  Testament to the broad spectrum of influence, feeling every bit Wolf Alice, Kid Kapichi or Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, too.

"MK Nothing came from a daydream about a wicked and cool girl who was MK Ultra mind controlled to go out and assassinate bad guys of the world." says Anna Shields.  "It’s the first time I’ve written lyrics where it felt like the story was already there in my head, in vivid, comic book colour, and all we had to do was put it down on paper."
