Announce Feb/Mar 2025 UK Tour Dates + FOCUS Wales Appearance
Starting off the year in typically high gear, South London alt-rock newcomers Dead Air will release their riff-heavy, anthemic, and riotous new single ‘Die’ on 10th January 2025.
The track is the latest to be taken from their forthcoming sophomore EP, Elements, set for release on 7th February 2025 via Fly Tip Records (see below for tracklist and artwork) with vinyl preorders live now: https://fairsound.com/product/dead-air-elements/
Alongside the single news, the band are pleased to reveal a run of Feb/Mar 2025 UK tour dates, plus an appearance at FOCUS Wales 2025, with tickets on sale now (see below for listings).
Commenting on the new single, front man Reuben says: “‘Die’ was the second half of a two part track—whether the first part comes out we’ll see, but ‘Die’ follows an individual who wakes up in the afterlife after taking their life. Confused and distraught by what they see, they reflect on the actions they have taken. Cursing themselves, they wish to return back to the world of the living.”
“Big up Rob Wilkes for getting us in the studio and leaving us to do our own thing,” says a grateful Moonasar of the initial writing sessions for Elements. “We spent a few weekends locked away writing day and night, sleeping in the control room on blow up mattresses. It was the grimiest dream come true. Waking up to fresh coffee and cigarettes every day we powered through song after song and came out with four tracks.”
With producer Davide Venco—who helped the band define their vision for the songs—on side, the trio then headed to The Kinks’ legendary Konk Studios in London to lay down the final tracks. “It’s a stunning studio and hides some incredible gear,” says Moonasar. “The main studio has a great room sound which really lent itself to the moodiness of the EP. The drums especially sang in that room, a sound partially achieved by our tech Matt and Simon from London Drum Company, who tuned that kit to perfection.”
Lead single ‘Violently Blue’ was released in late 2024 and landed on NME’s New Bangers playlist, BBC R1 Introducing Rock with Alyx Holcombe, Kerrang! Radio, Planet Rock, Amazing Radio and more.
With further new material and live dates on the horizon for this year, Dead Air are now poised and armed to capitalise on their initial success and showcase how powerful and world-beating UK rock music can be.
In the band’s own words: F*ck sh*t up. Die.

Already causing an early stir on the live circuit with their arrestingly fresh brand of alt-rock, Dead Air have been quietly grinding across the UK, perfecting their performance and craft, and are now poised to show the world just how raucous a re-energised Gen Z strain of alternative rock music can be.
Drawing influence from a shared love of melodic, heavy, riff-driven rock (think Queens of The Stone Age, meets Deftones, Rage Against The Machine and Red Hot Chilli Peppers) the three piece have the fundamentals of the genre down pat, topped off with powerhouse vocal hooks that together create the uniquely 'Dead Air' sound, not to mention an attitude and live show that is pure, unbridled, cathartic energy.
Already quickly breaking away from the pack driven by the success of 2022 debut EP, City Sins—whose lead single and only music video to date, 'Teeth Grinder' racked up over 600K organic views and 12K subscribers on YouTube—Dead Air have so far been supported by BBC Radio 1, Kerrang! Radio, and Planet Rock, and have played Isle of White Festival, Decolonise Festival and toured with Himalayas.
