Currently out on a UK tour which includes a London Shacklewell Arms show this week, up-and-coming Brighton-based band congratulations today share new single “Get 2 Me”. The addictive track is a microcosm of congratulations’ vibrant output to date, showcasing the band’s irreverence for genre, leaping wholeheartedly between angular guitar riffs and sweet girly pop vocals, crushing instrumental sections and luscious, harmony-laden 60’s-esque choruses. Inspired by the romantic tale of a woman and her intergalactic travelling partner, “Get 2 Me” proudly exclaims that love lies beyond the limits of our solar system, it has no prejudice for gender, race or borders, and not even a thousand light years can stand in its way.
