Colorblind team up with EKOH on new single 'Haunted'

Austin, Texas quartet, Colorblind, who announced their signing to Tooth & Nail / Solid State Records last year, have today joined forces with Las Vegas’ heart-hop MC EKOH and released a brand new single titled ‘Haunted’.

"This song came from a really personal place for both of us. We were near the end of writing our own album and decided to come together to write something that reflected where we were emotionally,” shares Colorblind's vocalist Travis Moseley. “The chorus captures the feeling of being haunted by the past and stuck in a cycle you can't control, but collaborating on it allowed us to channel that weight into something cathartic. It's about facing the weight of the past and the struggle to keep moving forward, even when it feels like everything's falling apart."

EKOH continues to explains, "This song is deeply personal. The verses share my battles with depression, addiction, and a past I'm not proud of, while the chorus reflects feeling trapped by it all—haunted and barely living. I think it'll resonate with a lot of people. Being at the end of each of our albums, I think we were both feeling emotionally exposed and able to lay everything out on the table."

Colorblind are touring the UK this winter in support of Caskets. All dates are below.

With lyrical depth matched only by their ascendant vocals, Austin, Texas-based dreamcore staples Colorblind have quickly become a name to know in the heavy music world, racking up 28 million Spotify streams, thanks to their rumbling rhythm section, earth-shaking riffs, and airy grooves.

That hard-hitting musical combination forms the backbone of their previous single, “Needle Eye”, Colorblind's debut single for Solid State/Tooth & Nail. Building on the success of the 2021 hit "Motionless" and self-titled 2022 EP, "Needle Eye" announced a new era for the band.

With the band currently in the process of finishing their debut full-length, scheduled for release in 2025 via Solid State/Tooth & Nail, Colorblind are newly emboldened by the next phase of their career and poised to bring more of this life-affirming mentality to audiences around the world.

2024 turned out to be a banner year for the MC, EKOH, welcoming an impressive VANS mashup consisting of an EKOH-designed skate shoe, some of the biggest artist collaborations of his career including a track with rapper Tech N9ne, October's release of Pressure, EKOH's self-released album and a full tour of the U.S. to celebrate its success.
