Chris Luno shares new single 'Peaky' via [PIAS] Électronique
Berlin-based DJ and producer Chris Luno returns with another slice of elevating & melodic deep-house. New track ‘Peaky’, out now via [PIAS] Électronique.

The track was born during a thunderstorm in Bali, where Chris had set himself a bold challenge: writing a new song every day for 90 days. Immersed in the island’s raw energy, the mood of ‘Peaky’ was entirely shaped by his surroundings.
“The scent of rain and incense sticks, the powerful sounds of nature - the crash of thunder, the crack of lightning, all happening while I was experimenting with synths on my laptop.” Chris continues, “I instantly got into a flow state and decided to name this track Peaky, inspired by the idea of these peak human experiences. Intense, electrifying, like a storm on a tropical island.”
Produced in a tiny house near Bali’s off-grid Nyang Nyang Beach, ‘Peaky’ showcases Luno’s signature blend of crisp beats and uplifting melodies, while pushing his sonic boundaries. The rain echoes through percussive textures, the thunder roars in his punchy bassline, and soaring synths mimic nature’s chaotic beauty.
“I sketched the first draft in just a few hours and realised that stepping outside my comfort zone—even just for fun—can be incredibly rewarding.”
