Originally conceived as a collaborative project, ‘Hear Me Out’ took on a life of its own during the creative process. Written in early 2024 in collaboration with Michael Briggs, the track's identity emerged through its fusion of synth-laden textures and meticulously crafted samples. According to Blue Capricorn, “It all came together very unexpectedly. What started as an idea for someone else became something deeply personal—something that could only be a Blue Capricorn track.”
Described as both improvisational and spontaneous, ‘Hear Me Out’ ventures into new territory while staying true to Blue Capricorn’s ethos of constant experimentation. “I’ve always said my goal is to never repeat myself,” he shares. “This song is about evoking a specific feeling through its instrumentation and elements—a preview of what’s to come in my next project.”
Lyrically, the track explores themes of desire, vulnerability, and the longing to feel understood. “As an artist, how do I make myself feel heard?” he reflects. “For as long as I’ve been writing music, I’ve struggled with the sense that everything feels close yet out of reach. ‘Hear Me Out’ is an expression of that—of wanting to feel seen, heard, and liberated. It’s one of the deepest, heaviest songs I’ve written.”
