Belgian Rock 'n' Roll Lunatics The Sonic Redemption release “Preaching To The Wasteland” EP

The Sonic Redemption: three Belgian rock 'n' roll lunatics on a holy mission to shake things up properly! This power trio storms into your ears like a drunk mammoth on amphetamines. At the helm is the flamboyant ex-Southern Voodoo frontman Dominique De Vos, who still hasn't figured out how to turn down an amplifier.

Together with wonder child Jelle De Vos (yes, family - they share the same collection of torn jeans) on guitar and the 'don't-come-complaining-afterwards' drumming power of Bram Decrock, they make a racket that simultaneously gives you a headache and a grin. Their sound? A primordially healthy mix of dirty hard rock & roll and punk. Think Motörhead after three Red Bulls, Amyl & The Sniffers fighting over the last beers, and The Ramones who accidentally tuned their guitars. The Sonic Redemption isn't a band; it's a natural phenomenon, a hurricane of sound that blows your hair back and makes your smile more permanent than Botox.

And in terms of message/lyrics? They are probably one of the few bands in the Low Countries that talks about more than relationships, cars and stale dreams. For real.

Preaching To The Wasteland: their new EP is a collection of songs that sounds like someone got electrocuted while writing. From the thundering opener "No Opinion" (ironic, since they have at least three about everything) to the wild ride that is "Kill The Clock". The record sounds like it's been spun through a blender full of guitars and frustrations. "We wanted to make something that gives you stomach ache," says Dominique. "In a good way, of course."

The Cover: the cover was specially designed by Coert De Decker, a Belgian designer/layout artist who has already raked in a number of national and international awards.

The History: Dominique De Vos, no stranger to the rock scene, built his reputation as a powerhouse frontman/guitarist of Southern Voodoo—a band known for its furious live performances. With rave reviews in magazines such as Oor, Aardschok, Rock Tribune and the British Classic Rock Magazine, plus a whole string of concerts in Belgium and the Netherlands, the band grew into an underground phenomenon. Afterwards, he also played with bands like Motorcity Angels and Buzzkill Baby.

The Sound: it's not just about the music, but about the attitude, the intensity, and the uncompromising approach that defines everything they do. The result is a sound that is as powerful as it is primitive.

Live: expect sweat, chaos, and an experience that won't leave you indifferent. You'll love 'em or hate 'em - there is no middle ground, except for the emergency exit.

**About the Songs**

Is This White Noise? Ever feel like you're drowning in a sea of blah. Is it aliens? Is it the robot uprising? Are you in control, or lost in the noise? These guys want to know. (And frankly, so do we.)

Kill The Clock Tick-tock goes the clock, and so does your sanity. This song is a battle cry against and the crushing weight of routine. Sometimes, you gotta smash the clock to find your way. (Just don't blame us if you're late for work.)

No Opinion Spitting fire at a culture where voices are filtered, approval is empty, and staying in line means fading into nothing. Look up the word “existence” in the dictionary.

Pissing Contest Ah, the human ego. Such a beautiful, fragile thing. A spotlight on the ridiculousness of human conflict. Who wins? Nobody, really. But hey, it's entertaining. (Like watching squirrels fight over a nut. But with more yelling.)

Salvation Need a shot of pure adrenaline? The Sonic Redemption's got you covered. This track is a high-octane escape from the mundane, fueled by raw energy and a whole lotta "don't give a damn." It's not just about getting away; it's about surviving at supersonic speed. Buckle up. (And maybe hold on to something.)

Sick on the 6th Floor This one's for the restless. Are the walls closing in on you? The 6th floor is more than a place; it’s a state of mind where the only truth is the one you carve out yourself. Alternative facts anyone?
